Stefania Nistoreanu at the first exhibition abroad. Germini, at ICR Budapest

The painter Stefania Nistoreanu will be present for the first time abroad from 28 March until 29 April, at an extraordinary exhibition organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Budapest by "Transilvania" Galleries in Brasov.

"For me it is a moment in my career, probably the most important one, given that I attend for the first time at an exhibition abroad. In addition, it is a honor to expose to such a high level and to the company of many graceful and consecrated artists.

Exhibitions are always a good opportunity to observe people's reactions, to listen to their opinions, especially if they come from people of another nationality or race. You get clues about the humanity scheme and your relationship with it. But, beyond all, the first thing that matters is that people see your work. It's what every artist wants, "says Stefania Nistoreanu.

What does it mean, in today's context, to be an artist and stubborn to create in such a mercantile world?
"Being an artist is a gift you receive when you come into the world. Every man who receives it has the obligation, I would say, to respect and cultivate it with great care. We are the first to take care of our mission and destiny, whatever they are. I believe in my gift, no matter what the context, and I want to leave behind things that make the world more beautiful. I like to think that I leave to the universe the testimony of this planet for eternity,"the artist replies.

The work in the exhibition is "Germini"

Today, March 28, at 18.00, Stefania Nistoreanu will be present, along with 48 other artists, at the "Art and Spirituality in the Transylvanian Space" exhibition, organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Budapest. The selected work for the opening is "Germini" (photo).
